The older I get, the more Jesus-centric I become. As Christians, Christ IS our life. Yes, I love hiking; it is a passion of mine. But finding true rest and living a full and meaningful life is about learning to walk in step with Christ and what He is doing in the world.
My Approach To Life
Life in Christ is a saunter with God.
To saunter is to walk slowly, relaxedly, without hurry, effort, or a stroll. Daily, I look for where Christ is at work and join Him. Instead of working FOR Jesus, I pray that Jesus works THROUGH me. People don't need to see me doing good things FOR God; they need to see God working THROUGH me.
What is the secret?
Let Go! Get out of the way!
"Self" is the center of our problems. When we deny ourselves and allow Christ to live through us, we are living the life God meant for us. Christ longs to saunter with us here and for eternity. Don't wait for Heaven to experience Christ's rest and true fulfillment.
